What is Coolsculpting?

CoolSculpting is an innovative fat-reduction procedure that employs controlled cooling to effectively target and destroy fat cells. This non-invasive technique, known as cryolipolysis, is designed to selectively freeze fat cells beneath the skin while leaving the surrounding tissues unharmed.

During a CoolSculpting session, a clinician applies a specialized applicator to the area of concern. This applicator delivers precise cooling to the underlying fat cells. The cold temperatures cause the fat cells to freeze and crystallize. Fat cells are more vulnerable to cold than other cells in the body, and this exposure triggers their natural death, a process called apoptosis.

Following the treatment, the body naturally processes and eliminates these dead fat cells through its lymphatic system. This gradual elimination results in a reduction of stubborn body fat in the treated area. Over the weeks and months following the procedure, the area becomes more sculpted and contoured.
