We carry two types of neurotoxins or neuromodulators, Botox and Dysport, that relax the muscles that cause wrinkles.
These neurotoxins are both strategically injected to weaken muscles for a variety of results. The first 5 minutes of a client’s neurotoxin appointment is used to discuss desired results and align on a treatment plan. It is important to note many variables affect neurotoxin effectiveness, such as muscle strength, previous treatment history, body chemistry, and metabolism.
We treat the following areas:
Dimpled Chin (Orange peel chin)
Underarms for Excessive Sweating
Masseter Muscles for TMJ Relief and Facial Slimming
Platysma Muscle (Neck) to Smooth Hanging Bands or Horizontal Neck Creases
How are Botox and Dysport different?
Botox is made by Allergan and Dysport is made by Galderma. There are molecular differences in the product, but they ultimately effectively serve the same purpose. The type of neurotoxin used during a client’s treatment is an injector and personal preference.
Who is an ideal candidate for Botox or Dysport?
An ideal candidate is anyone who is suffering from the unconscious movement of a muscle. These can be wrinkles, fine lines, dimpled chin, jaw clenching and more.
What to expect after Botox or Dysport?
Leaving with tiny bumps at the injection site is normal, and significant results will be seen within 1 to 2 weeks after treatment.
For injections in the face, a client should expect to stay in an elevated position for 4 hours post-injection. Immediately after a neurotoxin treatment, a client may notice small red bumps that should disappear within in 30 minutes. A client may expect redness, bruising or swelling post-injection, but these side effects should clear up within 2 weeks.
